The International Studies Association (ISA) has decided to fund a one-day Workshop on Water Security in New Orleans on 16 February 2010, one day prior to the main ISA convention. The workshop is organized by CSCW researcher Halvard Buhaug in collaboration with Ariel Dinar (University of California, Riverside) and Thomas Bernauer (ETH Zurich) and involves about ten papers on various security aspects of water and transnational rivers.
