This joint seminar between PRIO and the CERI Program for Peace and Human Security (Sciences Po) is part of the ‘Arms Against a Sea of Troubles’ project, which reflects on the reach and limitations of human rights and international law in the context of military intervention.

The seminar will focus on the integrated or disintegrated nature of peace-building efforts in Afghanistan and debate problems of the legitimacy and efficiency of an intervention from theoretical and practical, international and local perspectives.
