The Norwegian Solution, a film about the Norwegian ammunitions and arms manufacturer NAMMO, premiers at Cinemateket Wednesday 4 November. The movie is directed by Emil Trier and gives a unique insight into one of the most contentious work places in Norway. What is it like to work in an ammunition factory in a country that likes to perceive itself as a proponent of peace? There will be time for discussions after the movie. The director and the producer will talk about their experiences of making this movie, and PRIO researcher Hilde Wallacher will be interviewed about the ethics, dilemmas and realities of Norwegian arms production.
The event is free of charge.
