The conference attempts to shed light on the organizational nature, ideologies and electoral fortunes of far-right parties in contemporary Europe, especially during the post-2008 economic crisis, but also before. It also aims at discussing the variety of new challenges that far-right extremism and populism present European citizens and governments with.
