This seminar presents an opportunity for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to present and discuss migration-related issues, aimed at enriching our collective understanding. The seminar will consist of presentations from researchers with commentaries by practitioners and policymakers, followed by discussions with the audience. The seminar is organized by the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), in collaboration with Ace Policy Research Institute (APRI)

- Conflict-Related Migration Decision Making: Examining the various factors and characteristics of armed conflict that influence individuals and communities to undertake migration, with a focus on understanding the complexities behind these decisions.
- Migration Journeys in conflict-contexts: Exploring the experiences, challenges, and dynamics encountered during the migration process, highlighting the physical, psychological, and socio-political aspects of migratory routes and experiences.
- Refugee-Host Interactions: Investigating the interactions and relationships between refugees and host communities, including the impacts on both groups and the broader implications for social integration, policy, and community dynamics.
