PRIO's Gudrun Østby beat out fierce competition to become one of the first researchers to join the newly established Young Academy of Norway.
Close to a 160 applications resulted in 20 positions being filled, with Gudrun occupying one of them. The academy is to be an interdisciplinary meeting place and research political platform for young researchers, and is founded by the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters
