Professor Bernt Aardal is stepping down as Chair of the PRIO board, a position he has held for three 3-year periods - since January 2007. He was also a member of the PRIO board from 1998 to 2004. PRIO would like to thank Bernt Aardal warmly for his dedicated work for the institute for a total of 15 years!
He has been on the board during the tenure of no less than four PRIO Directors, and the current one, Kristian Berg Harpviken, probably speaks on behalf of them all when thanking Bernt Aardal for his strategic foresight, his deep knowledge of academia, his availability, and – above all – his personal support.
