At the Dialogue Forum for Norway's membership in the United Nations Security Council, jointly organized by PRIO, NUPI and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we continuously seek to integrate gender dimensions in the exchange between researchers and policy makers on themes central for the Council term.

An important example of this is the forum on UN peacekeeping in complex conflicts arranged on the 16th of December where Jenny Lorentzen, Senior Researcher at PRIO and Post-doc at Lund University, participated as an ignite speaker to particularly highlight gender dimensions in peacekeeping and Mali. This effort is further supported by other ongoing projects at PRIO, such as the Tracking and analyzing WPS integration in UN Security Council resolutions 2015-21, involving Louise Olsson, Patty Chang and Anna Marie Obermeier, and the work of the PRIO GPS Centre.
