Associate Professor at Uppsala University and PRIO associate Nina von Uexkull has been awarded the prestigious Oscar Prize for her work on security implications of climate change.
The prize, funded by a donation from former King Oscar II of Sweden and Norway, is given annually to a young scholar “whose scientific writing is the most deserving and offers the greatest promise of continued academic writings at the University.” See news release [in Swedish]. Congratulations!
