Ipek Borman delivered a speech at the "Economy within the Context of a Solution in Cyprus" panel organized by the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) on the occasion of the International Day of Peace. She analyzed the issue from a global perspective and in the context of international relations, focusing on global historical turning points and emphasizing that political, economic and social processes are interrelated and intersecting. In this context, she highlighted that the solution of the Cyprus problem should be addressed more comprehensively within the framework of sustainable development, as a sustainable solution and peace in Cyprus cannot be achieved independently of gender equality, economic development, resilient political and administrative institutions, justice, sustainable energy and environment.
