Ophelia Deroy holds the Chair for Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Neuroscience, at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany). She is also the director of the Center for Research in Experimental Aesthetics, Technology and Engineering at the University of London, School of Advanced Study. Ophelia Deroy is a leading expert in interdisciplinary studies about the mind, and researches ways in which theoretical and normative models of decisions, proposed by philosophy, can be tested and refined through behavioural and neural studies. She has widely published on information integration, within a single or multiple agents. She will be contributing to this project by looking at the empirical predictions and models considering human-AI interactions, focusing on the military and team contexts.
