Trond Andrèm Lie

Trond Andrèm Lie, born 1950, did alternative service at PRIO as a conscientious objector from August 1975 to January 1977. He had graduated in law from the University of Oslo and served as a research assistant to Asbjørn Eide, mainly related to projects on UN handling of conflicts in Southern Africa and commissioned work for the Norwegian Foreign Ministry on the revision of the conventions on the international laws on war. Following his time at PRIO, he went on to practice law in public and private service.
