Tobias is writing his thesis about the relationship between presidential term limit evasion attempts and mass mobilization. His project collects data on evasion attempts between 1990 and 2020, and he applies quantitative methods to explore how different strategies for presidential overstay affect the opportunities for protest. He holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Oslo, with a major in political science.
