Nabiiha is a master's student in Social Anthropology who is writing her thesis about disability in the war-to-peace transition in Mogadishu, Somalia. She is specifically studying war-inflicted impairments among teenagers and young adults and the long-term effects on their ability to live self-sufficiently. The data for this project were collected through five months of ethnographic fieldwork in the capital city, using participant observations and semi-structured interviews as the main methods. Nabiiha has a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology, with a minor in Psychology.
