Ola Listhaug (1949–2023) was a Professor of Political Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He led the Working Group Values and Violence at PRIO's Centre for the Study of Civil War 2003–2012. He served as Chair of the Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU for several periods and was an elected member of The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters as well as The Royal Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters.
