Sociologist and musician Arild Boman was at PRIO 1967-69 while working on his mag. art. thesis in sociology (Galtung and Lodgaard as supervisors) which he finalized in 1970. Both prior to this work, and after leaving PRIO, Boman was in contact with the institute.
