The objective of the project is to propose ways in which federal education policies may take shape under a structure that has both federal and constituent state elements. These proposals will be informed by a comparative study of different systems of federal education. Possible case studies include Canada, the US, Switzerland, and Bosnia. Studying these systems, their advantages and shortcomings will provide a basis for solid proposals that might be applicable to Cyprus.
This project began with an international conference in 2016 and continues to develop in 2017 into the Preparing Educational Structures for Federal Arrangements project.
