ViEWS-Proof of Concept (PoC) will explore the societal and financial potential of ViEWS, a conflict prediction system based at Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and Uppsala University (UU). We will sketch how the research can be applied to maximize its usefulness for organizations dedicated to conflict prevention and mitigation, while strengthening its focus on transparency and open-access publication strategies.
