The widespread availability of digital technologies is reshaping conflict and peace dynamics across multiple dimensions. But how does the increasing use of digital tools influence peacebuilding and mediation practices? And what do these digital transformations mean for conditions of inclusion and confidentiality in peace mediation? In this policy brief, we examine how what we call Peace Facilitation Organizations (PFOs) – non-governmental organizations dedicated to mediation and dialogues across the tracks – manage these digital transformations and their impact on inclusion and confidentiality.
