The project’s institutional partner, Ateneo de Manila University, organised a stakeholder dialogue on 28 September, hosted by the Fulbright Commission. The NORM team discussed issues related to China's investment in digital technology with representatives of the Filipino government, defense, academia and civil society. The discussion, held under Chatham House rules, focused upon the challenges for The Philippines to work with China on digitalizing its economy, while at the same time confronting the PRC on its claims and aggressive behaviour in the South China Sea.
