How do small and medium-sized countries navigate the challenges posed by great power competition? My research addresses this question with a focus on the securitization of technology. My areas of expertise include digital technology, cyberspace, and space.
I work on projects funded by the RCN and the MoD. At PRIO, I co-lead the Security and Technology Research Group. Additionally, I have co-organized two editions of the Peace Research master-level course, hosted by the ISS at UiO.
PRIO has successfully secured funding for four new projects to support research addressing today’s critical societal challenges, including two focused on Norwegian security and defence.
This week we have welcomed this year's summer school students to PRIO.
In September 2023, the PRIO NORM team was in Manila, The Philippines, to conduct fieldwork interviews and meetings with local stakeholders.
