PhD Project in Religious Studies on the role of religion in military.Article-based PhD Project on the role of religion in the development and maintenance of combat motivation amongst regular recruits. Empirically, the project focuses on a combat batallion in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and is based on a series of interviews conducted over a period of 4 years. The dissertation will be submited to NTNU.
