PRIO will convene scholars and practitioners from around the world at a workshop on Thursday and Friday 23-24 September at Anker Hotel to take stock of the current state of the research on how conflict impacts maternal- and child health and what can be done about it. The workshop is a joint initiative of the Armed Conflict and Maternal Health in Sub-Saharan Africa project and the Development Aid, Effectiveness, and Inequalities project. Both these projects are associated with the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies and the PRIO Centre on Gender, Peace and Security.
